The folder symbol means that exactly the domain entered in the text field to the left of the symbol will be analyzed.
This means that if the domain example.tld was entered, exactly the domain without www. before that, analyzed.
The globe means that all things belonging to the URL are analyzed. The domains example.tld, www.example.tld and any other subdomains of the domain would be analyzed.
The globe variant is the more holistic one.
The variant with the folder symbol is the more exact one.
