Question

How are links evaluated by the link analysis?

Answer

Links are assessed on the basis of various criteria:
A distinction is made between risk and evaluation criteria.

A link is evaluated according to three risk rules and classified as bad if

  • it contains malware

  • the domain is not in the Google index

or

  • the subject of the domain is considered hacking.

In addition, there are many other evaluation criteria, several of which must apply for a link to be rated negatively. One example is the criterion "Domain has no OVI", which refers to the XOVI keywords database.
