How can I prevent other directories in the domain from being analyzed?

Answer

To have only one directory and its subdirectories (e.g.: domain.tld/en/) analyzed by the onpage analysis, set the crawl scope to only this directory and make sure that the configured start URL ends with a slash ( / ):

  1. Log in to suite.xovi.net

  2. navigate to the onpage analysis settings under Onpage > Analysis management

  3. check that the URL in the Start URL column of the respective analysis ends with a slash

  4. click on domain.tld > CHANGE SETTINGS AND CHECK NEW

  5. select the value only this directory in the drop-down crawl scope

  6. click on START ANALYSIS WITH CHANGED SETTINGS to restart the analysis with the changed settings.
