Question

What is the CheiRank?

Answer

The CheiRank indicates the communicativeness of a document in an onpage analysis.
A higher CheiRank value on a document of the analyzed domain indicates that it is more "communicative", i.e. has more outgoing links.

The CheiRank value is calculated by XOVI as part of an on-page analysis for the individual pages of the website and reflects the importance based on the number of outbound links, among other things.
It can be seen as a counterpart to PageRank, which reflects the incoming links.

The CheiRank can be found in the XOVI Suite for the pages of the domain found by an onpage analysis under Onpage > Analysis Management > Links > Chei Rank Distribution.

The values of the CheiRank canörange between- and 100.00.

  • The value - indicates that there are no outgoing links or only links of type "nofollow" on the document. The document is less important for the ranking of the page

  • The value 100.00 means that the page is an important hub page that directs visitors to other important pages via links

Hub pages usually have a comparatively high CheiRank.
