Symptom

No results are displayed when filtering for type PDF and HTTP status code 404 at the same time.

Cause

The filter was set up too strictly or incorrectly.

Solution

To find links to PDF documents that return an HTTP 404 status code, configure the filter in the Site Audit as follows:

  • HTTP status code: "404"

and

  • URL contains: "PDF"

or

  • Destination contains: "PDF"
