Fehler Start-URL: noindex, nofollow

The message "Fehler Start-URL" is shown when the Onpage Analysis is opened for domain example.tld

Symptoms

  • In Onpage > Analysis Manager > example.tld the error message Fehler Start-URL is shown

  • The following string can be found in the site's source code:
    ​<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow">

Cause

The meta-Tag robots prevents the site from being crawled.

Solution

  • Remove noindex,nofollow from meta-Tag robots

  • Restart the Onpage Analysis in Onpage > Analysis Manager > example.tld > START RECRAWL
